As of about an hour ago, club penguin is finally releasing the follow things.
• New Server Selection
• Igloo Backgrounds
• Penguin Mail
• Play card update
After all this waiting for these updates, which seem to be Fantastic, i think ALL the waiting will finally, pay-off, i think that the Player Card & Penguin Mail update will be the best.
Penguin mal looks and seems pretty fun from all the sneak peeks, aswell as the player card updates, which will make it easier for us to find our items 
Well, we can’t see wether these updates are really cool until..
Thats over, I think you will be able to play, definatly in the next 3 hours.
Well, that’s all for now, ill post the updates when all the maintanence is done on club penguin.
